Why Madagascar
Madagascar carries life found nowhere else: forests, reefs, lemurs, reptiles, plants, languages, memories and local knowledge. Climate shocks, poverty and deforestation put pressure on both people and nature. TNW MAD exists to bring attention, culture and support into one clear place.
Most of Madagascar’s reptiles, mammals and plants are found nowhere else on Earth. Protecting Madagascar means protecting life that cannot simply move somewhere else.
Cyclones, droughts and floods are becoming part of daily risk. Nature, homes, food systems and local work all feel the pressure.
Preservation cannot work if people are left outside the story. TNW MAD starts with culture, community, dignity and practical support.

Current project
The New World Madagascar
The NGO TNW MAD works to revitalize the environment while confronting the poverty system around it. Protect nature, create useful local production, transmit knowledge, and make every purchase or donation part of the action.
What makes the human different is consciousness. It is wisdom and creation.

Assisted natural regeneration and field work to help restore degraded ecosystems.
Soaps, teas, powders and essential-oil ideas that can help fund environmental action.
Books, art and storytelling that pass knowledge forward and invite people into the mission.
Every purchase supports TNW MAD's reforestation work, local production, books, and field action in Madagascar.
What already exists
The existing project materials point to reforestation, nurseries and long-term restoration goals. Next is documenting the work clearly.
Books and local products can become a small market where every purchase has a reason beyond the receipt.
TNW MAD has story, urgency and raw material. TCOTPE gives it a cleaner home: one place for updates, support, products, community and transparency.

Store & cartMission & people
This is not about pretending to save a whole island from a laptop. It is about building a trustworthy bridge: stories that travel, products that fund, and a community that can slowly turn attention into useful support.
Writers, artists and friends carrying the emotional fire of the project.
People turning ideas into websites, shops, payment flows and transparent systems.
Local voices and action people who understand reforestation, production and community needs on the ground.
Community
On Facebook, TCOTPE stays close to the ground: field notes, reforestation milestones when they are verified, new books and bioproducts in the solidarity market, and honest questions from people who want to help without illusions.
Announcements when a batch of soap or tea is ready, photos from the nursery and reunion sites, shared stories from Antananarivo and the regions where TNW MAD works, and clear calls when the team needs books, funds or attention for a specific action.

Field immersion
These frames come from the reunion project zone and nearby work: harvest moments, hands in the soil, people meeting around shared tasks. They are not decoration — they are the same reality the solidarity store and the books are meant to sustain.

Support
Every purchase supports TNW MAD's reforestation work, local production, books, and field action in Madagascar.
Donations and solidarity purchases both feed the same pipeline: trees, books, local production, and the slow work of documenting what is real. Nothing here promises instant impact — only a trustworthy bridge between people who care and people who know the terrain.
